About Me
I am Meghan Molony.
I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina.
I graduated from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019 with a BFA in Animation and in 2023 a MFA in Animation. My thesis was on Slapstick Comedy and its implementation in modern animation.
I spent those 8 years of art college learning a lot about collaboration and the animation pipeline as well as dappling in a plethora of different art mediums from all different parts of production.
I started with traditional animation and cleaning it up in Toon Boom Harmony, learned Storyboarding in Storyboard Pro, took part in creating concept art and backgrounds in both Photoshop and Adobe illustrator. Since I didn't have a senior film myself I took part in several other student films and filled many roles on each one, as the production crews were spread thin.
While at college I expanded my comfort zone, giving things like Oil Painting and Sequential Art a try among other various art mediums to expand upon what I'm capable of as an artist. I really enjoy challenging myself.

These days I do remote work in small companies or for individuals with passion projects, taking on many different roles in production as I had done in College. The work is super rewarding and keeps me very busy.
